Mr. Joseph Burt
Chief
Executive Officer
Mr. Burt is a computer technology professional, with over 18 years
in software support and application development. He has worked from
the initial infancy stages of development projects through final
release. Initially, Mr. Burt worked in the aerospace industry as
an analyst and programming expert as a consultant with NASA. After
four years with N.A.S.A., Mr. Burt moved to Apple Computer, during
his eight-year stay as a software support engineer.
Mr. Burt traveled globally training Apple employees on new in-house
software applications that his group designed. Mr. Burt was a key
pivotal figure in the early success of Apple Computer. Mr. Burt,
a sports enthusiast all of his life, initiated PowerTeam two years
ago. At that time, he had the foresight to recognize the inevitable
marriage of technology and sports training. PowerTeam is the progeny
of that foresight.
Mr. Marvin Marks
President, Research & Development
Mr. Marks has strong experience in engineering program & project management in the computer technology industry. Mr. Marks has served in consulting roles for Hewlett-Packard, to build database driven web systems, among other consulting assignments for other companies within the industry. Prior to that Mr. Marks was a Senior Program Manager at Vyou, Inc., a startup company, that produced technology that protected web content in real-time. Mr. Marks role enabled him to work with a variety of development teams within Vyou helping to solve customer problems and integrate their needs into future products.
Prior to joining Vyou, Mr. Marks has worked with Hewlett-Packard for over 20 years leading projects from planning, development and execution. Mr. Marks who is passionate about sports and athletics combined his skill in computer science to pursue the advancement of technology in the vast sports industry with PowerTeam Sports.
Mr. Blair S. Bolden
Vice President, Operations
Mr. Bolden is a computer technology professional, with 15 years
in hardware and software development that spans the Aerospace and
Computer industries. Mr. Bolden developed early production components
for both F/18 Fighter and B-2 Bomber at Northrop Corporation. Mr.
Bolden then moved into the computer industry to work at Sun Microsystem
for four years. At Sun, Blair designed the next generation manufacturing
center for their mid-tier product line. He developed Sun Microsystem's
CTO (Configure-to-Order) facility in Monfoort, Holland which gave
the ability to offer configurable low-end products worldwide. Blair
then spent three years in the Telephony industry with IPO, Clarent
Corporation where he set up the Manufacturing and Test processes
as well the Corporate Quality program. Mr. Bolden left Clarent Corporation
to join PowerTeam Sports and pursue his life love of integrating
technology into sports.
